Jason is a Managing Partner and a Financial Planner at Wealth by Design. Jason’s primary areas of focus are retirement and investment planning as he helps his clients prepare for and ultimately successfully transition into retirement. Jason works alongside Nicholas Petriello in designing and implementing investment strategies for their clients. He also plays an important role in the due diligence process of various investments and investment products. Jason is influential in managing current client relationships as well as securing new client relationships and centers of influence.
Jason joined Wealth by Design as a Para-Planner in 2007 where his role was developing personalized financial plans, researching specific client issues and staying current with the ever-changing planning strategies and economic environment. He gained a tremendous amount of knowledge, skills and experience that enhance his ability to serve clients as their Financial Planner today.
Jason graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors from Seton Hall University where he earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance along with a minor in Psychology. He has secured the following designations:
- CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM certification (CFP® certification)
- Chartered Retirement Planning Consultant (CRPC®)
Jason has attended the Institute for Preparing Heirs at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California where he received a certificate of completion in the course. This course was specifically designed to equip Jason with the tools needed to help clients transition their wealth to the next generation as well as how to properly prepare their heirs to successfully receive the wealth and become good stewards. Jason and his family reside in Springfield, NJ. He is a first generation American and is fluent in Portuguese. Jason is an avid sports fan and his favorite sports are hockey, football and soccer. He played for the Seton Hall University Ice Hockey team, where he also served as a team captain. He loves the beach and traveling.
